Human-Centered AI for Home Care

Technology that carries the weight, without replacing the heart of care.

Home care runs on people who are stretched past capacity. We build AI that takes the exhausting parts off their shoulders, so the hours left go to the human connection.

What we are solving

Home care is breaking the people who hold it together.

Coordination falls through the cracks. Turnover empties agencies. Heavy physical work injures the caregivers left behind. The result is worse care for patients and an unsustainable load for everyone else.

35–41%

Implementing digital care orchestration cut administrative overhead by 35–41%.

75–80%

Annual caregiver turnover. Most leave within the first 100 days.

562,500

Nonfatal health care injuries in 2023 — the highest of any sector.

The suite

Three companions, one promise

LUCY holds the thread inside the home. RUBY keeps the caregivers who never wanted to leave. CORA protects the bodies doing the physical work. Every product keeps a person in the loop.

LUCY

For patients, families, and care teams

An in-home companion that keeps everyone connected to the same person, so nurses, aides, and family see the same truth about how today went.

RUBY

For caregivers and the agencies who keep them

Retention intelligence that sees the signals before a caregiver resigns, and drafts recognition so specific it cannot be faked.

CORA

For schedulers and agency leadership

Injury-aware scheduling that matches patient demand to caregiver capacity, so the heaviest caseloads stop landing on whoever is free.

About

I have lived on both sides of the care equation.

At seven years old I watched my mom suffer a stroke that left her partially paralyzed with limited speech. Overnight I became both child and caregiver, and for thirty years I saw how often the systems built to support her created barriers instead of pathways.

I spent my career closing that gap. I built protective systems for caregivers inside a home health company, led the technology work as it grew into a leading provider, and helped acquire and scale a software company that sold seven years later for a 5x return. Then I kept spending my weekends caring for my mom.

Hearth Care AI is what I know has to exist next. Technology that carries the weight, built with empathy and intention, so the people holding home care together can bring their whole selves to the work.

Progress with purpose

Systems that stick, not moving fast and breaking things.

Technology that amplifies people

AI that returns time, energy, and clarity to caregivers.

Empathy as necessity

Designed by someone who has stood at the bedside.

Joy is not a luxury

Capacity and resilience are what make excellence sustainable.

Mission

Hearth Care AI builds human-centered AI that protects everyone in the room, so the people who hold home care together are finally seen, valued, and supported.

Vision

A home care system built around the reality of the people inside it, where technology carries the weight that is breaking caregivers and never replaces the human connection at the heart of care.
